It's raining (Australian) men
Frockwriter mentioned this week that we had so far counted four Australian male models on the menswear runways in Europe.
Make that at least one dozen.
After London Collections: Men, the Fall/Winter 2014/2015 menswear caravan has now moved on to Milan - with the Paris shows still to come next week - and the Oz model tally has dramatically increased.
One Sydney agency, Priscillas, has no less than 12 models at the FW1415 menswear shows, including two internationals who were originally scouted and signed while travelling in Australia, making Priscillas their "mother" agency - German Felix Reiss and Swede Claes Nordstrom.
Although we are yet to see a number of these faces on the FW1415 runways, with some bypassing London and Milan to head directly to Paris, according to the head of Priscillas mens' division, David Conway, the agency's Aussie male model pack for the FW1415 shows is comprised of: James Gatenby, Jack Vanderhart, Elijah Tyedmers, Sam Armstrong, Nathaniel Rooklyn, Lucian Clifforth, Tristan Jensen, Dominic Carisch, Jarrod Scott and Nathaniel Visser - who popped up at Versace and Calvin Klein over the weekend, with at least one other high profile sortie yet to come.

And here is one of the interesting Priscilla's newcomers, Lucian Clifforth, at John Varvatos on Saturday:
Here are the Australian FW1415 show lists to date. We will update over the coming days.
In the meantime, don't forget to follow the brilliant backstage coverage of the mens' shows by Australian photographer (and fellow Fellter), Sonny Vandevelde.
